CUSTOM-ENGINEERED

Your Process. Your Heat Treatment. Engineered to Fit.

Standard models are only a starting point. Every heat treatment furnace and line MWT builds begins with your material, your temperature profile, your capacity and the way your plant actually runs. Tell us what your process needs, and our engineers will design, build and commission the system around it, from a single tempering furnace to a complete heat treatment line.

MWT T6 Heat Treatment Furnace

Solution Heat Treatment, Quenching and Artificial Aging, Engineered as One Process.

The quality of heat treatment is decided by how well four things fit together: the material’s characteristics, the temperature, the holding time and the handling of the product throughout the process. MWT designs T6 heat treatment systems for aluminium components with all of these in mind, from solution heat treatment and quenching to artificial aging.

Matched to Your Components

Alloy, size, capacity and workflow

Every system is tailored to the alloy type, the dimensions of the components, the production capacity and the customer’s own workflow. There is no generic design, because the right furnace depends on what is being treated and how the plant runs.

Heat Distribution & Temperature Control

Even heat, controlled temperature

Engineering attention goes to how heat is distributed through the chamber and how temperature is controlled during solution treatment and aging, so that components reach and hold the temperature the process requires.

Quench Transfer Time

Every second between furnace and quench counts

The time it takes to move components from the furnace to the quench is part of the design, not an afterthought. A well-engineered transfer supports the mechanical properties required of the finished component.

Industrial Construction & Integrated Handling

Built to run, practical to operate

Heavy-duty construction is combined with an integrated handling system, so loading, transfer and unloading work as part of one controlled process. The result is a furnace that is practical to operate and easy to maintain.

From Design to Commissioning

Thermal engineering team, start to finish

MWT provides the complete scope: design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning, helping customers build a heat treatment process that is controlled, practical to operate and easy to maintain.

Combustion, Control & Refractory

The core capabilities behind every furnace

Combustion devices, electrical control and refractories, the core capabilities MWT applies across its thermal engineering work, are engineered together with the furnace so that each part supports the others.

MWT Industrial Heating Furnace

Engineered as One System. Built with Precision at Every Step.

MWT industrial furnaces are designed around the material characteristics, the process temperature, the production capacity and the way product moves through the furnace. The heating chamber, the combustion system and the handling mechanism are developed together as one whole, to support the customer’s operational needs.

PRECISION AT EVERY FABRICATION STEP

In an industrial furnace, a small deviation in one step shows up later as a problem in operation. That is why every stage of fabrication at MWT is carried out with high precision, and why each step is checked before the next one begins.

Inspection, Cutting & Frame Assembly

Right from the first cut

The process starts with checking the material and its dimensions. Cutting and frame assembly then follow, to make sure every part matches the working drawings before it moves on to the next stage.

Welding & Casing

Strong joints, true alignment

Welding and casing installation pay attention to joint strength, alignment and the potential for distortion caused by heat, so that the furnace body keeps its intended shape.

Refractory & Insulation

Thickness, joints and room to expand

Refractory and insulation are installed with attention to thickness, joints and expansion space, so the lining can handle thermal cycling while keeping heat inside the process.

Roller System

Smooth, aligned product movement

On the roller system, the alignment of every position and the smoothness of movement are checked, so that material is transferred through the furnace as designed.

Burner, Piping & Control

Checked before the first firing

Burner installation, piping and control wiring are inspected before any functional test. Only then does the furnace move on to testing and commissioning.

Thermal Performance & Maintenance Access

Built to run, easy to look after

Through focused engineering and fabrication, MWT builds furnaces that fit the customer’s process, with attention to thermal performance, ease of operation and access for maintenance.

MWT Tempering Furnace

The Right Balance of Hardness and Toughness, Engineered into the Furnace.

Tempering is the heat treatment stage that follows hardening and quenching. Its purpose is to reduce brittleness and to reach a balance between hardness and toughness in the material. The result depends on the accuracy of the temperature, the holding time and how evenly heat reaches every part of the product.

WHAT THE RESULT DEPENDS ON
TEMPERATURE
Accurate and controlled
HOLDING TIME
Held as the process requires
HEAT UNIFORMITY
Even across the product

MWT designs each tempering furnace around the type of material, the dimensions of the product, the production capacity and the customer’s workflow. Engineering attention goes to the design of the heating chamber, heat circulation, insulation and temperature control, so that the process stays consistent from one batch to the next.

Heating Chamber & Heat Circulation

Heat that reaches every part of the load

Chamber design and heat circulation work together to bring the whole product to the same temperature, which is what makes tempering results consistent.

Insulation & Temperature Control

Stable temperature, controlled heat loss

Insulation keeps heat inside the process, while the control system holds the temperature for the time the process requires.

Careful Fabrication, Step by Step

From material check to casing

Every stage is carried out with care: material inspection, cutting, frame assembly and casing welding, followed by the installation of insulation and mechanical components.

Dimensions, Joints & Maintenance Access

Checked before the next stage

Dimensional accuracy, joint quality and access for maintenance are checked before the work continues to the heating system, instrumentation and control panel.

Function Test & Commissioning

Proven against the agreed parameters

Functional checks and commissioning complete the work, to make sure the system operates according to the parameters agreed with the customer.

Built for Production, Easy to Run

Operation and maintenance in mind

The furnace is designed for the customer’s production needs while keeping operation and maintenance practical for the plant team.

MWT Heat Treatment Line — Annealing, Tempering & Heating

Three Processes, One Integrated Line, Built Around Your Production Flow.

MWT designs and builds heat treatment lines that cover annealing, tempering and heating, matched to the customer’s material and production flow. Each process has a different purpose, and the line is engineered so that all of them work together.

01

Annealing

Softer material, easier to work

Annealing brings the material to a softer condition that is easier to machine and process in the next stages.

02

Tempering

Hardness and toughness in balance

Tempering after hardening sets the balance between hardness and toughness the finished product needs.

03

Heating

The right temperature for the next stage

Heating brings the product to the temperature required for the following production step.

LINE PERFORMANCE DEPENDS ON HOW THESE FIT TOGETHER
Heating system
Heat distribution
Process time
Cooling
Product transfer

That is why furnace design, insulation, combustion system, air circulation, handling and control are developed as one integrated system, not as separate parts added together.

PRECISION FROM THE FIRST WELD TO COMMISSIONING

Care is applied from the fabrication of the frame and casing, through insulation installation and the alignment of mechanical components, to piping and instrumentation. Function testing, parameter setting and commissioning then confirm that every part works as designed.

Engineering, Manufacturing, Installation & Commissioning

One thermal team across the whole scope

MWT provides engineering, manufacturing, installation and commissioning, with the line tailored to the customer’s process targets.

Consistency, Energy Use & Ease of Operation

Results that repeat, a line that is easy to run

The design pays attention to consistency of results, energy use, and the ease of operating and maintaining the line.

Annealing. Tempering. Heating. One Line, Engineered as a Whole.
ENGINEERED FOR TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIP

The Purchase Price Is Only One Part of the Investment.

For a manufacturing business owner, the value of a furnace or thermal system shows over its whole service life. MWT takes these factors into account on every project, from design through manufacturing, installation and commissioning, to support productivity and long-term investment value.

Metal loss and rejected product
Cycle time and process consistency
Refractory and component life
